Your right to a Good Faith Estimate
If you are uninsured or are not using health coverage to pay for care, you have the right to a written Good Faith Estimate of the total expected charges for your health care items and services.
- When care is scheduled 3–9 business days ahead, the estimate must be provided within 1 business day after scheduling.
- When care is scheduled at least 10 business days ahead, the estimate must be provided within 3 business days after scheduling.
- You can request an estimate before scheduling; it must be provided within 3 business days of your request.
- If a provider’s bill is at least $400 above that provider’s estimate, you may use the federal patient–provider dispute process.
Keep a copy of the estimate to compare with your bills. Request an estimate from Roxane at roxanecohanimlmft@gmail.com or 310-800-2479.

Contact & use of this website
The consultation button opens an email to the practice. Sending it does not reserve an appointment or establish a therapist–client relationship. Please limit initial messages to basic contact and scheduling information. Ordinary email may not offer the same protections as a clinical patient portal.
This website provides general information about the practice, not individualized diagnosis, treatment, or emergency care. If you need immediate emergency help, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.
